Solvitur ambulando, “it is solved by walking,” is a Latin phrase often attributed to St. Augustine and while walking doesn’t solve everything, going on a walk with Jesus can change everything.
Discover how spending time outdoors with God in a holy space can open, widen and even shift your perspective when it comes to walking through life’s challenges. When faced with the unsolvable and the path beyond doesn’t seem clear, the next steps are hard. Learn how to move through life’s challenges by attending to your inner voice and the voice of God. As Robert Frost says in his poem A Servant to Servants, “The only way out is through.”
What could our lives look like if they were as immersed in God’s creation as they are in technology? It’s true, being outdoors is good for your physical, mental and emotional health but more importantly it refreshes and renews us spiritually as well. Join our Hiking Group on Saturday hikes (2-3 per month) in the North Georgia mountains and surrounding areas where you will have the opportunity to discover more about who God is and who we are as his beloved children. An introductory hike will orient and prepare you for future hikes.
